Terms of Service

Last updated: April 1, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the RouteAI API, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. RouteAI is operated by Liam Valdemar, Sweden ("we", "us", "RouteAI"). You are the "Customer".

2. The service

RouteAI provides an OpenAI-compatible LLM routing proxy. We route your API requests to third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq and others) and charge you for usage based on a prepaid credit system with a 10% markup on provider costs.

5. API keys

You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. We are not liable for unauthorized use resulting from a leaked key. If you suspect your key has been compromised, contact us immediately and we will rotate it.

6. Uptime and availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime SLA. The service is provided "as is". We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers (Railway, OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, etc.).

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish and EU law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount of credits you have paid in the 30 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Upon termination, unused credits may be refunded at our discretion.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts, with Stockholm as the venue — unless mandatory EU consumer protection law requires otherwise.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers at least 14 days in advance.
